Homemade Apple Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 10 apples. I used half Paula Red and half Ginger Gold but any apple will do
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Peel, core and chop the apples.
  • Add the apples to a heavy bottomed sauce pan along with 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of water and the cinnamon.
  • Cook over medium heat partially covered.
  • Stir every few minutes. It will take about 20 minutes to cook depending on whether you want it chunky or smooth. I like it chunky.
  • Add water and sugar if needed during cooking.
  • Eat warm or cold.
  • Enjoy!
