Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound potatoes about 448 grams
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs optional
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into large cubes or quarters, depending on their size.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the oil, taco seasoning, and salt.
  • Add the potato pieces to the bowl and toss them until well-coated with the seasoning mix.
  • Place a sheet of foil in the air fryer basket, then spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on top.
  • Air fry at 400°F (204°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and crispy.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the hot potatoes, and return the basket to the air fryer. Allow the cheese to melt in the residual heat without further cooking.
  • Remove the basket, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm as a side dish.
