Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 package 30 oz frozen hash brown potatoes, defrosted
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine the cooked beef and onions with hash browns, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the hash browns start to turn golden brown on top.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
