...
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 package 30 oz frozen hash brown potatoes, defrosted
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Combine the cooked beef and onions with hash browns, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the hash browns start to turn golden brown on top.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot and enjoy!
