Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds spicy breakfast sausage
  • 1 package 30-32 oz frozen hash browns, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and no longer pink. Drain the excess grease and set the sausage aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook the hash browns until they start to turn golden. You can add a little oil if needed. Spread the hash browns evenly on the bottom of the greased baking dish. Layer the cooked sausage on top of the hash browns, then sprinkle the shredded cheese over the sausage.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well mixed. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the hash browns, sausage, and cheese.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly browned.
