Grate the onion finely, yielding about two tablespoons. Combine the grated onion with the ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix everything thoroughly using a fork until well combined.
Shape the mixture into four patties, about ½ inch thick. The patties may be quite moist.
Heat a nonstick griddle or a large nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add canola oil, or spray with nonstick spray. When the pan is hot enough to feel the heat when your hand is held just above it, place the patties on the griddle.
Cook each patty for about five minutes per side. If you’re adding Cheddar slices, place them on the patties after the first flip.
Once cooked, serve the patties on hamburger buns with your choice of condiments and toppings like tomato slices, lettuce, onion, red bell pepper, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Enjoy!
