Honey Cake, Natural Sweetness

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Direction On Baking:

9 inch cast iron skillet or baking dish greased.

In kitchen aid mixer beat butter and honey.

Add eggs one at a time.

Add yogurt and vanilla and beat in.

In a small bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt.

Add to wet ingredients and mix together.

Pour into cast iron skillet.

Bake 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

Sprinkle with powder sugar if desired. Add ice cream and fresh berries as an option.
