Sloppy Joes with Mango Salsa

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion (about 1/2 medium)
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Great Value No-Salt Added Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 6 whole-wheat sandwich buns
  • 1 cup diced fresh mango (about 1 small)
  • 1/2 cup Great Value Canned Low-Sodium Black Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tsp. lime juice


Brown ground beef and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until beef is crumbled and no longer pink, 8 to 10 minutes.

Add tomato sauce, molasses and chili powder and simmer, covered, about 5 minutes until flavors are blended.

Meanwhile, stir together salsa ingredients.

Divide beef mixture evenly among bun bottoms, top equally with salsa and close with bun tops.
