This delicious guacamole dip is made smooth and velvety with the addition of sour cream. The jalapeno packs some heat while the lime adds some freshness to this bright green dip. This dip can be served with tortilla chips or vegetable crudites for those who are trying to keep it light.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados, pitted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Kosher salt, to taste
Directions:
Scoop the avocados into the bowl of a food processor then add the remaining ingredients. Pulse until smooth. Add salt to taste.
Tip: Unlike guacamole, you can make this dip hours before serving. The lactic acids in the sour cream keeps it from browning.
