- 1/2 pound of carrots
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt
- 2/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic seasoning, smoked paprika, and sea salt. Mix well to blend the ingredients.
Prepare the carrots by peeling or washing them thoroughly. Slice each carrot into pieces approximately 1.5 to 2 inches long. Depending on their size, you can quarter, halve, or leave them whole, ensuring uniform thickness for even cooking.
Add the carrot pieces to the bowl with the seasoned oil. Toss until the carrots are well-coated with the mixture.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Arrange the carrots in a single layer and cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 minutes, or until they reach a tender consistency.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the carrots. Continue air frying for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly crispy.
