30 Minute Chocolate Cream Pie

Delicious creamy and chocolaty pie enriched with a lot of chocolate curls on top. It was really easy to make but the curls, at least I thought so. But, when I got the chocolate in my hands, the curls were just popping out like popcorn.

This was the quickest recipe for this caliber cake. I think that I was the happiest one in the house because the cake will be made in no time and the rest of the time will be spent on preparing the main dish.

I had little helpers to be beside me and to help me with spreading the cookie crust out. Oh, yeah, the crumbs were everywhere our sight reached but the positive energy and the laughter were invaluable.

Ingredients:

For the pie crust

  • 2 cups crushed cookies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar

For the chocolate cream

  • 2 packages chocolate pudding
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 ounces chocolate to garnish

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees.

Stir the crushed cookies with sugar and melted butter and spread the crust in the round pan.

Bake for 10 minutes. Mix the prepared cold pudding with firmly beaten whipping cream.

Spoon it over the crust and garnish with chocolate curls.
