It nearly doesn’t change the natural color of the lips, but just tones up or down the look. These sheer lipsticks may be with or without gloss. Matte ones are more popular, but even if they contain a gloss, they still look natural, as the color is not so much eye-popping. By the way, it’s a great option for those who are not so much obsessed with bright and or full-coverage lipsticks.

Cream Lipstick

Cream lipsticks, in contrast with the sheer ones, are glossy and a bit bolder. Cream lipsticks may serve as a perfect accent on your light makeup as they are very much pigmented and can give dominance to your overall look. But you should be very careful as cream lipsticks may melt, so you must tighten them with a lip liner. It is used instead of a primer and gives a more lasting effect. Be attentive also when choosing the color of the cream lipstick, as it should flatter your facial features and skin tone in order to give the look you imagined.

One of the disadvantages is that they may make you lips look thinner, but you can easily avoid this problem by choosing the right tone for your lips.
